Work With Me
My unique combination of creative and professional skills and experience means that I can put together a custom package just for you, whether you are interested in a single commission, image licensing, a wholesale order or an interconnected, multi-piece package that combines storytelling, history and visual art. While my personal focus is on Texas history, I love to work with customers and clients nationwide.
Commission requests are initiated primarily through businesses, nonprofit organizations, or trade professionals such as interior designers or art advisors. I also offer wholesale, licensing and funded exhibition options for museum and hotel gift shops, heritage centers or other businesses with missions that align with the project. Pricing varies based on the size and complexity of the work, and nonprofit rates are available.
I also love to collaborate with brands and organizations through creative partnerships that pair my work with historic images to help tell their story on social media and other traditional and digital channels.
Currently, I don’t offer online shopping, preferring instead to drive traffic and revenue to arts, cultural and history centers that carry my work. Please check back or subscribe to my newsletter for a list of stockists. If you know of a local space where you would love to purchase my work, tell them about me!
Creating art inspired by photos can be tricky. Most of the images I use fall under the public domain, are tagged in archives without rights restrictions, or are personal family photos. I will occasionally create from other vintage photos, making changes in style, context and tone that constitute fair use, and rarely offering those for sale. If I work from a photo that has been provided to me, I assume that digital rights have been cleared by the organization or individual.
